LCD, ugh! Washed-out colors, motion blurring and narrow resolution options? No thank you. I'll stick with my heavy, glass-filled behemoth of a CRT, thank you very much.

I have a 19" LG widescreen monitor and the colors are beautiful. They appear more bold, if you will, due to backlighting that LCD's do compared to the CRT. WoW always seemed dark on my old Sony 17" CRT causing me to crank up the gamma, which washed out the colors. I don't experience any motion blurring.

I will agree with you on the narrow resolution options though. A 19" CRT monitor would probably do at least 1600 x 1200 resolution compared to the 1440 x 900 I get now.

If they could make a type of monitor that took advantages of both CRT and LCD, that would be the ultimate model.

21" DVI-ready LCD topping out at 1600x1200. <3

I'll never go back.

I bought the Dell 20" widescreen @ 1680x1050. It's nice...same panel as the $800 apple cinema display but with a better backlight. Got mine for $400 Smile
