I'm getting Unable to validate version. This may be caused by file corruption or the interference of another program. Do I need to reinstall everything from scratch?

I think you're supposed to run the repair utility and then it'll work :o

The repair utility does not support your version of WoW 2.01.6180

Moral of the story: Take a 30 second jaunt to the tech support forum before doing anything drastic. d=('_' )z

Also check with Spybot Search and Destroy.
People are reporting a Pipas.A trojan infection may be causing this problem.

Well I'm getting it to work temporarily now with the Run As command. Hope they get this fixed soon.

Seriously though, get spybot 1.4 and see if you're one of those unlucky people with a Pipas.A infection.

QFE.

I am not having this problem, Lass. I dont know how many are, but I'd check to see if you've got this little trojan, as Jered suggested. Hell, i may be some sort of keylogger.
